Parents, Today is our 100th day of SCHOOL!!! Our bullfrogs will be celebrating the 100th day across the building! A huge thank you to parents, students, and families for supporting 100 days of learning! Students only have 75 more days of learning to go this school year. Let's make each and every one count! According to Absences Add Up, encouraging regular school attendance is one of the most powerful ways you can prepare your child for success—both in school and in life. When you make school attendance a priority, you help your child get better grades, develop healthy life habits, avoid dangerous behavior and have a better chance of graduating from high school. Congratulations to our students who have been recognized at our community meeting last Friday for exhibiting TOLERANCE during the month of January. Each month a teacher chooses a student who has been exhibiting our character trait of the month. February's character trait will be responsibility. Chat with your kiddos about what responsibility looks like at home and school. Students who show responsibility by following school wide expectations this week and through the month of February with ZERO referrals will be invited to our Behavior Celebration on Feb. 23rd! Please remember to send in the Comprehensive School Survey by tomorrow if completing the paper form. If you would like to complete the online version please click here: Parent Survey. Tennis registration is still open for grades k-5! Tennis will meet Wednesdays from 4-5 in the BFES gym. Click here to register: TENNIS! Also, parents look for an informational flyer from MATHNASIUM in St. Matthews that will be coming home this week! Register online for free assessment, free test prep session, or two homework help sessions for students in grades 3-5. Check it out! Students are encouraged to wear blue and orange on Friday, February 2, to stand #MarshallStrong in solidarity with Marshall County High School. Uniform pants required. Students may wear orange and blue shirts that are not uniform. Comments are closed.
